Get to know your community and the people that make this club special. Giacomo Vannuccini is a Junior Coach at Riversdale for the U14s.

Which team do you coach? Under 14 Boys. I am so luckywith this group of boys. They encourage each other at every training session and game. They always work hard and always find a way to enjoy their football. Every session ends up going over time because they never want to stop!

What do you love about coaching? It is such an honour and pleasure to help raise the next generation of footballers. To see them enjoy themselves and develop as players and more importantly, develop as people is so special. And to have a part in that makes it more than worth it.

How long have you been at the club? Coming up to 10 years at the club now. My first year at Riversdale was 2016 and they have become a family for me. Such a great club which has given me so much on and off the pitch.

What do you love about Riversdale? The culture this club breathes is phenomenal. Inclusion and encouragement is the primary focus and it creates such a great environment. Football is supposed to be enjoyed and this club makes it so easy to do that. The support by everyone involved is immense and I feel valued at every session and game. This club sees more than just a player and works hard to support the person as well. I couldn't be more lucky in finding this club. Everyone involved in this club put their heart and soul into it and it's hard not to feel it.
