Our History

A chance meeting of three young Englishmen in the Sydney airport lounge in January 1978 gave the present Riversdale Soccer Club its first President, first Captain and Coach and first Best and Fairest winner.

Our goal is to provide an environment for players to enjoy participation in a team sport, learn to play football and be supported to develop and achieve their potential.

The current club emblem, as seen, was developed in 1995 with the underlying philosophy of jamming as much in as possible, to avoid offending anyone.
